Two skaters from Yuvabharathi public school to take part in the The World Roller Games 2022. 2 skaters in Male & 2 skaters in Female divisions will be selected to represent India at the World level.

Gowtham (17)of K'sirs school & P.Naveena (15) of Yuvabharathi public school took part in the selection on behalf of Tamil Nadu, where Gowtham ranked second in men's category & Naveena ranked first in the women's category selection trials.

They have been training since 2014 under coach Mr. Kanishka Dharani Kumar - former National champion & Coimbatore's first International skater back in 2008. It is first time in Tamilnadu that 2 skaters from a single club & same city have been selected for the Indian team in alpine event.

The World Roller Games is scheduled from 24th October to 14th November 2022 in Buenos Aires & San Juan - Argentina.The World Roller Games 2022 is the most prestigious skating event in the world which will see close to 4000 skaters from more than 40+ countries around the globe.
